The NHTH team made it to Kampala on Sunday at 2am local time after a 29.5 hour journey, door-to-door! All but two of the teams' bags made it to their final destination, but thankfully, all the of the CPR manikins and other teaching tools arrived. There had been a concern that the CPR manikins might get "stuck" in customs, but they made it through with no problems!
The airline assured the team that the two remaining bags had been located and would be delivered to the hotel where the NHTH team is staying and hosting the Kampala teaching days. The missing bags contained the printed handouts to accompany the lectures as well as certificates of attendance for each participant. We are glad to report that those bags were delivered on Monday in time for the first day of teaching!
